Privacy Policy

We collect nothing. Here is what that means in detail.

The short version

NoJar has no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you write stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Michal Kos never receives it, cannot read it, and has nothing to hand over or leak. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and it is accurate.

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to the NoJar iOS app and this website, both operated byMichal Kos ("we", "us"). Questions go tosupport@kos.codes.

2. What the app stores, and where

The app stores the following on your device only, in its own app container:

Ask text is often personal — salary, rent, relationships. That is precisely why it never leaves the device. The app's data is written with iOS file protection enabled, which means it is encrypted and unreadable while your iPhone is locked.

3. What we do not do

4. Apple's role

Two things involve Apple rather than us:

Aggregate figures we can see in App Store Connect — download counts, crash reports you choose to share with developers, ratings — come from Apple, are not tied to you by us, and never include anything you logged in the app.

5. Notifications

All three notifications are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server and no device token is transmitted anywhere. Permission is requested only at the point the app first has something to schedule, and declining it leaves every other feature working.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights over your data

Because your data never reaches us, the rights that data protection law gives you against a data controller — access, correction, erasure, portability — are exercised directly in the app rather than by writing to us:

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to return, correct or delete on request. If you email support, we of course hold that email — see below.

8. Support email

If you write to support@kos.codes, we receive your address and whatever you put in the message, and keep it only as long as it takes to deal with the matter. It is not used for marketing and is never passed to anyone else. Please leave personal ask text out of support emails.

9. This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party scripts or fonts. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top changes with it, and any change that affects what the app does with your data will also be described in the App Store release notes. If the app ever starts collecting anything, that is a change we will state plainly — not one we will bury here.
