NoJar has no account and no server, so there is nothing to reset on our side and nothing we can look up about your data. That also means every answer below is something you can do yourself, on the device.

Common questions

I paid on another device — how do I unlock this one?

Settings → Restore purchase, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to that account, so it works on every device you use and survives reinstalling the app.

My purchase did not go through, or I was charged twice.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we never see your payment details. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for a refund or a duplicate charge. If the app itself still shows as locked after a successful purchase, try Restore purchase, then write to us.

Why can I not edit a prediction after saving it?

Because an editable prediction is worthless as data. The whole point is comparing what you believed beforehand against what happened, and a prediction you can revise after the fact tells you nothing. There is no edit button and there will not be one. You can delete an ask from the log if you logged it by mistake.

When does calibration unlock?

At 15 resolved asks with a yes or no outcome. Asks you backed out of feed the dodge rate but not the curve, because there is no outcome to compare a prediction against. Below that count the sample is too small to say anything you should believe.

How many asks do I get before paying?

10 asks. Everything you log in the free tier stays yours and stays in the app after you buy — nothing is recounted or reset.

The notifications bother me.

Settings → Notifications, where each of the three can be switched off individually or all at once. They are bookkeeping only: unresolved asks, the week closing, and the Day 30 report. None of them tells you to go be brave.

How do I get my data out?

Settings → Export CSV. One row per ask, with the text, tier, predicted probability, outcome, timestamps and note. It opens in any spreadsheet, and it is the same data the app computes everything from.

How do I delete everything?

Delete the app. All data lives in the app's own on-device store, so removing the app removes it. There is no copy on a server, because there is no server. Deleting individual asks is also possible from the Log, with a confirmation — deleted asks are gone from calibration too.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone on iOS 26 or later, portrait. The app is built for the current system and does not carry compatibility fallbacks for older releases.

Is this therapy?

No. It is a curiosity experiment about your own predictions, and it makes no clinical claims. If asking people for things causes you real distress, a therapist is the better tool for that, and this app is not a substitute.

Reporting a bug

Useful bug reports usually contain four things:

  1. What you expected to happen.
  2. What happened instead.
  3. The screen you were on, and the last thing you tapped.
  4. Your iOS version and iPhone model.

Screenshots help. Please crop anything private out of them first — ask text is often personal, and we would rather not see it.

Feature requests

Worth knowing before you write: a daily streak, a social feed, AI-generated dares and a subscription are permanent no's, not backlog items. Everything else is genuinely open, and requests that arrive with a reason attached carry the most weight.
